There’s still plenty of nectar for the bees. I can’t wait for my dahlias to start blooming en masse!

    We were talking about dahlias at beekeeping today, as they are a potential source of the really orange pollen we’ve been seeing some bees bring back.

    Your posts are starting to give me picket fence envy. I tried dahlias when I began gardening years ago, but in my climate they are just too much work–I see a couple of things in your photos that are just annuals here.
